Michael Callan is a 25-year veteran of the emergency response industry.
He is a Senior Instructor of Hazardous Materials at the Connecticut State Fire School, and was selected as the Instructor of the Year in 1989 by the International Society of Fire Service Instructors. Mr. Callan has conducted over 1,000 hours of chemical response training for industrial and municipal HazMat teams around the country. He is co-author of Hazardous Materials Exposure: Patient Care and Emergency Response. He is also president of Fire Training Associates in Meriden, Connecticut.

 

 

Greg Noll has over 25 years of experience in the emergency response community.
He is presently senior partner with Hildebrand and Noll Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in occupational safety and health, as well as hazardous materials emergency response, management, and training issues. He has served as a fire and safety professional with the American Petroleum Institute in Washington, DC, and as the hazardous materials coordinator for the Prince George’s County, Maryland Fire Department. Mr. Noll is co-author of a hazardous materials training manual entitled Hazardous Materials: Managing the Incident.

 

 

Confined Space Series

 

 

Buddy Martinette is a 23-year veteran of the fire service.
Currently serving as a Battalion Chief with the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia Fire Department. He has served on the Tide Water Regional Technical Rescue Team, the State of Virginia Department of Fire Programs Heavy and Tactical Rescue Team, and the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Program. Mr. Martinette is also an executive instructor with SPEC Rescue International.

 

 

Chase Sargent is currently a Battalion Chief in command of the Special Operations Division for the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia Fire Department.
He has 23 years of fire and EMS experience, he has served on the Tide Water Regional Technical Rescue Team, and he is a Task Force Leader with the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Virginia Task Force II. Mr. Sargent is also an executive instructor with SPEC Rescue International.

 

 

Mike Reimer is a Fire Fighter for the City of West Palm Beach, Florida Fire Department where he is assigned to special operations.
He has been involved with specialized rescue for the past 12 years, also working for the South Tech Fire Academy located in South Florida. There he has helped develop a confined space rescue training program for industrial responders as well as government employees. Mr. Reimer is also a member of the NFPA Technical Rescue Committee.

 

 

Phil Prichard is the Assistant Chief of Training at Diamonds Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Georgia.
Mr. Prichard has been involved with the fire industry for 21 years. Since 1993, he has developed training programs for the Air Force Reserve Command.
